AN elderly woman was knocked to the ground and her handbag stolen from her walking frame during robbery in Poole.
The woman, in her 80s, was walking along Macaulay Road at around 3.05pm on Monday (April 24), when she was knocked to the floor and had her handbag.
It contained a quantity of cash, as well as house keys.
Detective Constable Kate Brew, of Bournemouth CID, said: “The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, but thankfully she did not sustain any serious injuries.
“An investigation is underway and I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the incident or any suspicious activity.
“Also, I am appealing to the community to please check any CCTV systems for footage that may help our enquiries.”
