A DROP-in session is taking place next week to provide residents with more information about a proposed affordable housing scheme in Swanage.

The latest proposals from Swanage Community Housing and Hastoe Housing Association would provide “much-needed” social rent housing for local people and key workers.

The drop-in event is taking place at The Studio in The Mowlem on Shore Road from 3pm to 7pm on Wednesday, September 3.

The site in question is a parcel of land at Ulwell Road/Washpond Lane and up to eight houses could eventually be built.

An application will eventually be submitted to Dorset Council, but Swanage Community Housing wants to hear residents’ views before the application is made.
