A DRIVER was taken to hospital after a crash between a lorry and a car near Wareham yesterday.

A black Volkswagen Passat and a white Volvo lorry crashed on the A35 Dorchester Road at Morden at around 7.05am on Wednesday (July 16).

The Volkswagen driver was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

Dorset Police is now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.

Police Sergeant Chris Brolan, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was driving in the area and saw the collision, or the manner of driving of either vehicle in the moments leading up to it, to please come forward.

“I am also keen to speak to any motorists with a dashcam who may have captured any relevant footage.”
