Lloyd Hatton MP shows his support for Poppy Appeal

LABOUR MP for South Dorset LLoyd Hatton has been busy raising money for the Royal British Legion’s (RBL) Poppy Appeal.

Mr Hatton has been aiding the Poppy Appeal coordinators at their pop-up shop on Station Road in Swanage by selling poppies as well as participating in the annual Poppy Ride in Westminster – a cycling challenge for MPs organised by the RBL.

“The Appeal is such an important opportunity to honour those who have served in our Armed Forces, and to remember everyone who has made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the freedoms we all enjoy today,” said Mr Hatton.

“I’m proud to support the Royal British Legion and their vital work here in South Dorset.”

Mr Hatton will be joining remembrance services in Weymouth and Swanage this coming Remembrance Sunday (November 10) to reflect, lay poppy wreaths, and meet with the Armed Forces community.
