Hamworthy United have been forced away from their home until funds are raised to replace 60-year-old stand.
After a very successful first season in step 4, just missing out on promotion in the play-off final, the Hammers have been unfortunately put into a difficult position due to the facilities at their home ground.
Their play-off campaign saw them switch to The Avenue Stadium (Dorchester) following an inspection at their County Ground home that condemned their stand for demolition.
The Landlords announced that in order for a new stand to be built Hamworthy would have to raise £15,000 to help towards the costs including the demolition.
They have set up a GoFundMe (link below) to help resurrect this problem otherwise they could face being demoted back down 3 divisions due to the ground regulations required to host fixtures.
