RUSH hour traffic in Swanage was brought to a halt by a fire in the street this morning (Thursday).
A crew from the town was called to reports of a blaze in Ulwell Road, in the north of the town, at around 9am.
“On arrival it was well alight and it was extinguished using two hose reel jets and one breathing apparatus,” a Swanage Fire Station spokesperson said.
“Luckily, the occupants were fine and no one was hurt.”
