FIREFIGHTERS were sent to rescue people stuck on a roof after scaffolding at a Swanage property collapsed.
The incident unfolded in Osborne Road at just before 11am this morning (August 6), with fire crews from Swanage, Westbourne and a tech crew from Weymouth sent to the scene.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said two people were brought down from the roof.
“We then made the scene safe until the scaffolding had been removed from the road,” they added.
