TWO people have been arrested after a suspected arson in Poole.
The news comes after detectives made a CCTV appeal in relation to an incident in Northmere Road at around 12.53am on Monday, September 4.
“It was reported that two men broke into the address, before the fire was allegedly started,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.
“The occupants were not at home when the incident occurred.”
Following detailed enquiries and a CCTV appeal, police said, two local men – aged 33 and 41 – were arrested on suspicion of burglary and arson with intent to endanger life.
“They have been released on police bail as detectives carry out further enquiries,” a spokesperson added.
