Biker injured in Christchurch crash involving BMW

A BIKER suffered a foot injury after a crash in Christchurch on the afternoon of Sunday, July 21.

The incident happened at around 2pm in Lymington Road, near the junction with Rothesay Drive, and involved a black BMW 5-Series and a red Honda motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, sustained an injury to his foot as a result of the collision and was taken to hospital.

PC Sorrel Gilbert, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to conduct enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
