PEOPLE in Swanage are being urged to have their say over potential plans for a new sports and leisure centre in the town.

Swanage Town Council is urging residents to complete a survey to support of a planning application for the centre at Day’s Park.

“This is to replace the existing building in Day’s Park,” a spokesperson said. “We value your input and welcome your views on this important community project.

“We are working with the Swanage Town and Herston Football Club, local sports clubs, and other stakeholders to find out if there will be enough support and usage within the town.”

They said the survey should take less than five minutes to complete and can be found online at https://forms.gle/i9VFFvCcjiukHoti6, or from the town hall, Swanage Information Centre, or Swanage Library.
The deadline for submissions is September 9.
