THE King’s New Year Honours List for 2025 has been revealed – and there are a number of people across Dorset who have been highlighted for the invaluable work they do in the county.
The list showcases the achievements and dedication of those who have gone above and beyond for their community and it includes volunteers, public workers, sports people and business people.
Some of those honoured in the list include Professor Christine Joyce Britch for services to children with acute leukaemia in Blandford Forum, Paralympian Alice Rose Tai MBE for services to swimming in New Milton and Mark William Fane for services to horticulture in Fordingbridge.
