POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was allegedly pulled to the ground by her hair and “jumped on” at a Weymouth pub.
The incident, at The Rock pub in Abbotsbury Road, took place between 11pm and 11.30pm on Friday, December 13, when a woman was reportedly assaulted by another woman.
“It was reported that the victim was grabbed by her hair and pulled to the ground before being jumped on,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.

PC Aimee Holland, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and have now received a full account from the victim.
“There will have been other people in the pub at the time and I would ask anyone who saw what happened and has not already spoken to police to please get in touch.”
