Teens sought after ducks killed in shocking catapult attack

POLICE are appealing for information after a shocking incident in Dorchester in which several ducks were killed after being targeted with catapults.

The attack happened at a property in Glyde Path Road between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Sunday, February 22.

The occupants of the address reported hearing a commotion coming from the rear of their property, where they keep ducks in an enclosure.

When they went to investigate, they saw two teenagers running away from the area who appeared to be carrying catapults.

They were described as white and aged between 15 and 16 years old.

Afterwards, the victims discovered three of their ducks had been killed and another had been seriously injured.

The injured duck later died. The birds’ injuries are believed to have been caused by catapults.

Wooden posts around the enclosure were also damaged during the incident.
