A MAN in his 60s suffered a serious leg injury after a car hit a vehicle near Upton before driving off.
The crash, between a grey Volkswagen Golf and a silver Peugeot 2008, took place at 4.47pm on Sunday, December 15 on the A350 Blandford Road North at Lytchett Heath between the Upton Roundabout and the Roundhouse Roundabout.
“It is reported that the occupant of the Golf made off from the scene on foot,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.
The occupant of the Peugeot, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital for treatment for a serious leg injury.

Road closures were in place while emergency services responded and enquiries were carried out.
Sergeant Gareth Thomas, of the roads policing team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of this collision and to identify the driver of the Volkswagen Golf involved.
“I am keen to hear from any witnesses to the collision itself, or the manner of driving of the vehicles involved prior to it.
“I would also ask anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage to please make contact with us.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
