A MAN was reportedly headbutted by an unknown man during an altercation near Swanage Cricket Club.

Dorset Police say the attack took place on Friday, February 21 at around 1.38pm

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries not believed to be serious.

Police have issued an image of a man they want to speak to.

Sergeant Neil Hawkes said: “As part of my enquiries, I have obtained an image of a man I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.

“I am also appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information that might assist our enquiries, to please contact us.”
