A MAN was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Poole this morning.
The incident happened at around 6.50am today (November 1) in Lindsay Road.
Police said a silver Vauxhall Ampera Electron hit a pedestrian, a man in his 60s, who was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are “not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing”.
The driver was not injured.
Police Sergeant Mark Burton, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is underway to establish what happened and I am keen to speak to any witnesses.
“Also, if you were travelling in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage, please contact Dorset Police.
“I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding while the road closure was in place during a busy time of the morning.”
