A MERCEDES was stolen – along with two electric bikes – after a burglary in Upton this morning (December 2).

Police are appealing for information after thieves broke into a property off Shore Lane at some time between 6.15am and 7.15am.

They said a grey Mercedes car was stolen, as well as the two electric bikes – described as a white Cyrusher bike and a Freego bike – along with a handbag and a laptop.

PC William Forster, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out our initial enquiries into this incident to find out what happened.

“I would ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time period to please get in touch.

“If you have home CCTV in the Shore Lane area, or you were driving nearby and have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle, please let us know if you have any footage that may assist my investigation.”
