Man wanted after Poole petrol station worker attacked

OFFICERS in Poole are appealing for help to identify a man involved in an assault and criminal damage at a petrol station.

The incident occurred just after 1am on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the Esso station on Blandford Road.

According to police, the man tried to steal alcohol, but was stopped by a shop worker.

The situation quickly escalated, with the offender shouting abuse, throwing a crate of beer, which fortunately did not hit anyone, and kicking the door, shattering the glass.

He then left the scene carrying a quantity of alcohol.

PC Sam Prince said: “As part of our investigation into this incident, I am now issuing an image of a man I would like to identify. I would ask anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”
