Man left in hospital after “altercation” at Christchurch pub

POLICE are keen to trace this person after an assault at a pub in Christchurch which left a man in hospital.

The incident happened at around 10.30pm on Friday (September 27) around the entrance to the Stourvale Inn, in Christchurch Road.

During the incident, officers said a man in his 60s was reportedly punched to the face and taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his face and shoulder.

PC Rio Baker, of Bournemouth East and Christchurch police, said: “We are investigating this incident and have obtained an image of a man who we would like to speak to as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
