POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to trace in connection with a burglary in Christchurch.

Officers said a raid was reported at a garden shed near Dragoon Way at between 12.15am and 12.20am on Wednesday, May 8.

Several power tools and a bicycle were taken, said Police Community Support Investigator Mike Cannings, of Bournemouth police.

“Our investigation is continuing into this incident and I am now issuing CCTV images of a man I would like to identify,” he went on.

“I appreciate the images are not of the best quality, but I am keen to hear from anyone who may recognise him from his clothing or have information about his identity.”
