Burglars damage Poole community centre and steal items during break-in

ITEMS were stolen and damage caused during a break-in at a Poole community centre.

Police are appealing for information after and incident at the Branksome Centre, in Recreation Road, some time between 8pm on Wednesday, July 2, and 8.30am the following day.

Officers said damage was caused inside the centre and items were stolen, including a music speaker.

PC Niki Edwards, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this matter, and I am keen to hear from anyone with information that might assist our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant timeframe to please get in touch.

“I am also appealing to anyone who captured relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to please come forward if you have not already spoken to police.”
