A MAN has been arrested in connection with an alleged robbery of a man in his 70s in Poole.
It was reported that at around 3pm on Sunday, March 17, the victim was assaulted in Lindsay Road and a black leather pouch containing his bank card stolen.
It was also alleged the bank card was later used to carry out a number of transactions at various stores in the area.
Following enquiries by officers, a 34-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and fraud.
He has been released on police bail as further enquiries are carried out.
