SWANAGE Carnival is set to get an amazing aerial show this year – from the Red Arrows.

The renowned RAF display team has unveiled a display at the event as part of its 2025 programme, taking to the skies over the town on the opening day of carnival week, Saturday, July 26.

Carnival secretary, Kevin Langdon, said: “This is a fantastic attraction for our carnival and a major boost for the town.

“The Red Arrows are renowned for their precision and skill and having them as part of our event is a true honour.

“We can’t wait for everyone to experience the magic of their display against the stunning backdrop of Swanage.”

The Red Arrows have been displaying since 1965 and is based at RAF Waddington, in Lincolnshire. Since then, the team has flown around 5,000 displays in more than 50 countries.

“All Red Arrows display pilots have flown operationally, in frontline aircraft such as the advanced Typhoon, and helped the Royal Air Force to secure the skies every day of the year,” a spokesperson said.
