DOG-friendly firms will be celebrated at a special awards event this month.

Nothe Fort is once again partnering with Dog Friendly Social for a dog show like no other, in Weymouth, Paws 4 Fort.

Taking place on Sunday, September 24, between 11am and 4pm, the show will host a collection of businesses, as well as a family-fun dog show and the Dorset Dog Friendly Business Awards.

Nothe Fort and Dog Friendly Social are celebrating the very best of businesses in Dorset that go over and above for our four-legged friends.

Now, people in Dorset are being urged to vote for their favourite dog-friendly business, in the following categories:

• Best of Dorset’s Dog Friendly Retail Shop
• Best of Dorset’s Dog Friendly Accommodation
• Best of Dorset’s Dog Friendly Hospitality
• Best of Dorset’s Dog Friendly Visitor Attraction
