Biker seriously injured after hit-and-run crash in Poole

A BIKER was taken to hospital with a “serious injury” after a hit-and-run crash in Poole.

The incident, on the A3049 Canford Way, happened at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, February 17, and involved a red Honda motorcycle and a car which reportedly left the scene.

The motorbike rider – a man in his 30s – was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious injury.

Police Sergeant Chris Brolan, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am really keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

“Also, I would like to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
