A MAN in his 20s suffered serious injuries after a crash in Hurn on Tuesday (January 27).
Police are appealing for information after an incident in Matchams Lane at just after 8am, involving a white Ford Transit van and a Nissan NV200.
“Emergency services attended and a man aged in his 20s was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are believed to be serious but not life-threatening,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.
“Road closures were put in place to allow the emergency services to respond and for an examination of the collision scene to be conducted.”
PC Calum Maton, of the Roads Policing Team, added: “We are carrying out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam footage.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during the road closures, which were put in place to enable the emergency services to respond and for an examination of the scene to be carried out.”
