Motorcyclist caught speeding in Poole – while wearing hoodie making fun of speed limits

A MOTORCYCLIST had an awkward encounter with police in Poole after they caught him speeding while wearing a hoodie that read “What the f*** is a speed limit”.

The man was clocked travelling at 52mph in a 30mph zone at Sandbanks, putting himself and others at risk.

“While the outfit may have been a bold fashion statement, the riding strategy was anything but smart – excessive speed on motorcycles can be a deadly gamble,” a Dorset Roads Policing team spokesperson said.

“Motorcyclists are some of the most vulnerable road users with minimal protection compared to cars, even a minor collision can result in life changing injuries.

“Speeding strips away reaction time, narrows field of vision and turns everyday hazards into potential lethal threats.

“Every rider deserves to get home safe, but that means making choices that prioritise safety over style and responsibility over recklessness.”
