Man charged after bank cards stolen in Poole break-in

A MAN has been charged after a Poole home was broken into which saw bank cards and other items stolen.

The alleged burglary took place at a property in Edward Road overnight between August 25 and 26.

Police arrested a 46-year-old man from Poole in connection with the incident and subsequently charged him with burglary.

Following further enquiries, the man was also charged in connection with four other burglaries that occurred in the Ashley Road area during August and September 2025.

He appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (September 10) and was remanded into custody. He is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on October 9.
