59 BUSINESSES and organisations across Dorset have been highlighted for the work they do to further tourism in the county.
The annual awards, now in its 12th year, celebrates the very best of Dorset’s tourism industry.
Award categories cover everything from dog-friendly, new tourism businesses, and accessible and inclusive tourism to restaurants, glamping, hotels and pubs.
A Winner of Winners title, an Unsung Hero award, and a special Outstanding Contribution award will also be presented on the night.

Finalists will be in suspense until the awards ceremony at Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth on February 6, when they will learn whether they have won Gold, Silver or Bronze awards following five months of judging.
Gold winners in some categories will be nominated to represent Dorset in the 20254 national VisitEngland Awards.
A further two special awards will also be announced and ten will be rewarded with Commended status.
The awards change categories and criteria each year to reflect the constant innovation and reinvention across the industry.
This year’s awards saw a timely return of the International Tourism category as well as a greater-than-ever focus on sustainability and accessibility.
Organisers have also retained their own ‘Outstanding’ accreditation in the Awards TrustMark scheme.
Awards organiser Robin Barker of Services for Tourism said: “Celebrating excellence is so important – to the winners themselves, to the staff who work there, and to everyone in the industry looking to the future.
“It is also important for Dorset in showcasing the county on the national and international stage.
“Congratulations to everyone involved.”
