CHRISTMAS lights in Swanage – set to be switched on this Saturday (November 25) – will be joined by a seaside market of yuletide crafts.
Lighting festivities will take place between 3pm and 4.30pm, running alongside the annual Artisans on the Beach event, which opens at noon.
Weather permitting, 37 arts and craft vendors will take residence in the beach huts nearest to town, on Shore Road.
They will be open each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now until the end of December – with some also opening on selected weekdays.

Visitors are being encouraged to continue their seasonal shopping in the town centre, where storefronts are decorated with festive window displays.

The Artisans on the Beach opens at midday this Saturday, with the Christmas lights switched on between 3pm and 4.30pm in Swanage town centre.
