Ambulance responding to emergency involved in Poole crash, say police

AN ambulance responding to an emergency was involved in a crash in Poole.

The incident happened in Herbert Avenue, near the Rossmore Leisure Centre, at around 6.16pm on Wednesday, August 30, and involved an ambulance and a grey Ford Fiesta.

Emergency services responded and the drivers of both vehicles were treated at the scene, Dorset Police said, but did not require hospital treatment.

PC Chris Brolan, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or the manner of driving of the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to it.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who was driving along the road at the time with dashcam footage.”
