Customer made threats to kill at high street phone shop

POLICE are investigating a public order incident in which a man threatened to kill a staff member at a mobile phone shop in Poole.

Dorset Police received a report that a customer had become aggressive towards a member of staff at the Three phone shop in High Street on Friday, February 13 at 3.45pm.

It is reported the man made threats to kill to the staff member, but no physical contact was made and no injuries were sustained.

The customer was described as 5ft 10in tall with short dark hair, wearing blue jeans, a black top and a bumbag with red stripes on it.

Sgt Mark Rice said: “No one deserves to be subjected to abuse in their place of work and we are carrying out enquiries to identify the person responsible.

“I would ask anyone who has information about the incident or the identity of the man involved to please come forward.”
