An Evening of Words and Songs with Toyah Willcox

1st November at 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

£30

Join us for a very special one-off evening with the legendary Toyah Willcox at The Purbeck School, Wareham, on Saturday 1st November.

Singer, actress, TV presenter, author, BRIT Award winner, and cultural icon, Toyah has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning more than five decades.

Bursting onto the scene in 1976 as the “High Priestess of Punk,” she quickly became a household name through her music and film work. Her breakthrough role in Quadrophenia catapulted her into the spotlight, followed by chart-topping hits including It’s A Mystery, I Want To Be Free, and Thunder in the Mountains. Her iconic album Anthem achieved Gold status, alongside a BRIT Award for Best Female Artist.
Toyah’s career has been nothing short of extraordinary: starring opposite Sir Laurence Olivier and Roger Daltrey, marrying King Crimson’s Robert Fripp, releasing 23 studio albums, headlining tours, and appearing on stage at the National Theatre and Royal Court.

Ahead of her extensive 2026 UK tour, Toyah brings this intimate evening to Wareham. Expect a night of live performance as she sings her favourite hits, shares stories from her remarkable journey, and rounds off with a Q&A session.
